Fill out PDF forms for free

This free tool lets you complete interactive PDF forms directly in your browser. When you open a PDF that contains fillable fields, the tool detects them and shows a clean list of inputs — text boxes, checkboxes, radio options, and dropdowns. Type your answers, make your selections, and download a completed copy. You can optionally flatten the form so the answers become a permanent part of the document and can no longer be changed.

Everything runs locally with JavaScript, so your form and the information you enter are never uploaded to a server, which matters for applications, contracts, and official documents. This works with standard fillable PDFs that already contain form fields. If a PDF is just a flat scan with no real fields, use a scan or sign tool instead.

How to fill a PDF form

Add your fillable PDF, complete the fields shown, optionally tick Flatten form, then press Download filled PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is my form data uploaded?

No. The form and everything you type are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored on a server.

It says no fillable fields were found — why?

The PDF is probably a flat document or a scan without real form fields. This tool fills existing interactive fields; it does not create them.

What does Flatten form do?

Flattening writes your answers permanently into the page so the fields can no longer be edited, which is useful before sending or printing.

Which field types are supported?

Text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdown or option lists from standard AcroForm PDFs.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It is fully responsive and works in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android.
